What a magical event!

Our BookTalk at Luna Libro Café was made even more memorable with a beautiful musical opening jam by Budoy Maraviles, who serenaded us with Lumay—his heartfelt ode to Siquijor.

Perched on a hilltop in San Juan, Siquijor, Luna Libro Café offers stunning panoramic views of the ocean. The venue itself was enchanting—crafted primarily from wood, with a majestic tree growing through the middle of the space, symbolizing life, growth, and connection. Its high ceilings, cozy atmosphere, and walls lined with books made it the perfect literary haven.

Glass windows offered a 360-degree view of the surrounding beauty, while ongoing expansion hints at even more magic to come. The café served a thoughtfully curated menu, including delicious vegetarian options, which added to the warm, inclusive vibe of the place.

What stood out the most was the spiritual ambiance—from the solid wood furnishings to the symbolic Tree of Life mural gracing one end of the wall. Every detail reflected a sense of home, community, and deep reverence for nature and story.

A heartfelt thank you to Jay, Alex, and the Luna Libro Cafe team and everyone who joined us. It was a day of music, books, and meaningful conversation—truly a celebration of Siquijor’s spirit.
